ELEBRATION OF THE 2010 ALFRED P. SLOAN AWARDS FOR BUSINESS EXCELLENCE IN WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY
The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend this year's Celebration of the 2010 Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. On August 5 companies throughout Chicagoland will come together to celebrate the Sloan Awards of this year's ten winners, nine honorable mentions and three finalists. Jerry Roper, President and CEO, will present the awards. These prestigious national awards honor organizations of all sizes and all types in Chicagoland and across the country that are using workplace flexibility as a strategy to increase workplace effectiveness and yield positive business results.
Following the Sloan Awards, the program will highlight the value of telecommuting practices in improving profitability and attracting, retaining and engaging top talent.
Kyra Cavanaugh, President of Life Meets Work, will highlight how and why major U.S. cities are supporting telecommuting initiatives.
Bill Moller, former WGN radio personality, will moderate a panel of past and present Sloan Award companies sharing experiences with telecommuting and how Chicago might support telecommuting initiatives.
