What is the Microfinance Alliance of ACCION Chicago?

The Microfinance Alliance is a group of professionals that contributes to the sustainability of ACCION Chicago by promoting US microfinance among other professionals, providing strategic advice, and assisting in fundraising activities.  Our mission is to develop and maintain a forum of professional volunteers who advocate for domestic microfinance, enhance the effectiveness of ACCION Chicago, and support the mission of ACCION Chicago through the utilization of Microfinance Alliance members' skills, resources, and leadership abilities.

As an organized part of ACCION Chicago, the Microfinance Alliance works closely with ACCION Chicago staff and Board of Directors.

How Can I Get Involved?

1. Become a member of the Alliance:

- Raise awareness for Domestic Microfinance in Chicago

- Attend regular Microfinance events, meetings, and fundraisers

- Become involved in Ad-Hoc projects with various committees

2. Join on the the Microfinance Alliance committees

- Awareness

- Outreach

- Consulting

- Technology
